The ACC's Internet Cribbage Program gives members an opportunity to play in online tournaments, earn rating points, and compete for annual and lifetime awards.
ACC members who perform well in official ACC online tournaments receive Internet Rating Points (IRPs) in accordance with the guidelines. IRPs are accumulated throughout the season, from August 1 to July 31.
The ten players with the most IRPs receive All-Internet honors, with the highest rated player being crowned Internet Champion. The top 10% of players earning IRPs receive an invitation to the next ACC Tournament of Champions, held in March at the J Resort in Reno, NV.
IRPs are tabulated on both an annual and a lifetime basis. Season Standings and Lifetime IRPs are updated with the completion of each tournament, and the standings published monthly in Cribbage World.
How to Participate
- Join the ACC if you haven't already done so. To compete officially you must be an ACC member in good standing with a current membership.
- Choose Your Playing Site: Tournaments are held at eCrib+, GameColony and Cribbage Pro. These sites are available 24/7 and are free - all have upgrade options for a fee. It's your choice of which site(s) you play at. You can register at any site by clicking the following links:
Once you have an established username(s) certify them with the ACC using the Certification Form. This will link your username to your ACC member information. - Important Username Policy: To receive credit for participation in a designated ACC internet cribbage tournament and possibly earn Internet Rating Points (IRPs), you must play using the exact username that matches the site you are playing a tournament on. Usernames and the earning of IRPs cannot be interchanged. Most ACC members find it easier to use the same username at all sites. Tournament Directors (TDs) and players find it very confusing when an ACC number is used as a username as they are too similar to distinguish one player from another. Members may change their username once per ACC season.
- Practice Social Games First: Before playing in a tournament, please play several social games at the sites--they are quite different. It is very important that you are comfortable with the mechanics of each site before attempting to enter a tournament. While the TDs are very helpful, they are trying to juggle upwards of 60-120 people during signups, plus get the tournament underway.

Site Details
Registration opens 20 minutes prior to the start of each tournament at eCrib+ and GameColony. Be sure you have enough time to complete the tournament, typically 1-2 hours depending on format.
eCrib+
- Grass Roots 9 game style and Best of 3 bracketed formats offered
- You must play 10 rated games (including against the computer opponent) of the format before you can join a tournament of the same format. The TD has no control over this as the software is programmed to not allow a player to check in until you meet this minimum requirement. This is true of every style of tournament on eCrib+, not just ACC tournaments.
GameColony
- Best-of-3 bracket format offered
- Has a check-in time limit. Tournament players must be signed up prior to the running of the rules, which is five (5) minutes before the scheduled start time. Once the TD begins running the rules, they are not allowed to add participants to the tournament, and you will be dropped if you are not inside the ACC room. This is to provide the TDs the opportunity to verify that they have accurately entered all participants, and to ensure the tournaments start at the scheduled time.
Cribbage Pro
- Cribbage Pro has a quarterly season starting Aug 1, and each tournament lasts roughly 90 days. You get to self-schedule your Best-of-3 matches. The matching algorithm will assign an opponent to you. To complete the tournament, you must play 10 matches per week, for the full 12-week season.
- Note: There is no sign-up process at Cribbage Pro to be included in a tournament. Everyone on the site who plays the 5 qualifying games in the "Competitive Matchmaking" section is automatically included as a tournament player. This means it will count as ten of your tournaments toward the 150 maximum ACC limit.
- When you open the Cribbage Pro screen and get boxes of choices, you will see a large question mark in the lower right corner. Click on that to see the FAQs links, and other info. The blog section will give you the tournament details and updates.
