Local Cribbage Clubs Peg Across North America

Grass Roots COVID-19 Statement

ACC Grass Roots is a non-profit cribbage organization, with over 200 local clubs, and counting, in North America. Clubs meet on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis and hold 6-game or 9-game round-robin cribbage tournaments.

Grass Roots is a great way to meet new people, and play the best one-on-one card game there is - cribbage! Grass Roots is open to players of all ages and abilities. Whether you haven't played since you were a kid, or are looking to refine your skills to play in bigger tournaments, Grass Roots is a fun, relaxing time.

Each season, players compete to earn points (called GRPs). Each club crowns a champion, and there are awards for reaching certain lifetime GRP milestones. In addition, there are awards for getting a 28-hand, 29-hand or a grand slam (winning all 9 games in one week).

The ACC Code of Congeniality is applicable to all tournament play, including the Grass Roots Program's weekly tournaments. The intent is for experienced players to be considerate of new player skills and their development, and to foster growth of the organization.
