On February 1, 2002, the ACC accepted a new member by the name of Bob Bartosh. Bob's son, Scott, called him one day and said: "I'm playing cribbage, and they have prizes for winning." Bob said: "Not interested." Scott replied: "I am in Reno, NV. There are over a thousand players here. First place is $10k." Bob said: "Now I am interested!"

Bob has directed the Sacramento Season Starter cluster since 2016 and the Sacramento New Year Kickoff cluster since 2018. He received the 2019 Western Region Volunteer of the Year Award. He has accumulated some impressive stats in all three ACC rating systems:

• #8 in lifetime MRPs: Life Master (4*) (26,952 MRPs)
• #7 in lifetime wins: 58 tournament championships (36 mains, 22 consolation)
• #5 in lifetime All American awards (12 times)
• 2023 national champion (2,316 MRPs)
